While preparing for Siemens Reap, I remembered the words of Jeremy at Navutu Stars Fiji – „There is a very nice Navutu Dreams & Wellness Retreat Resort in Siem Reap. If you go there – try it, you will definitely like it.“

At the resort

To my biggest surprise, Jeremy was at Navutu Dreams himself. I know, things happen. The Fiji resort was being sold… yes, I was very sorry to hear the news, but this was decided by the owners, and we just have to accept the fact…

Navutu dreams is a resort for people that like intimacy and a calm environment. It is a medium-scale resort, with nice villas/bungalows, three swimming pools and a great atmosphere.
I really liked its cleanliness, natural shampoo and shower gels made locally that you find in the bathroom products and oils used in the spa.
The rooms in the bungalows are very spacious, comfortable and clean. Each bungalow has a terrace with chairs. You have a lot of privacy.

Tuk-tuk of the Navutu Dreams

Tuk-tuk

The Navutu Dreams resort is located minutes away from Angkor temples and Siem Reap town, but you can reach it easily with the resort’s tuk-tuk, which is nice and very comfortable. We hesitated when we had to choose between a car and a tuk-tuk, but we never regretted choosing the latter. It is very pleasant to feel a natural breeze, particularly on a very hot day, and to look around from an open tuk-tuk.

Breakfast in the Navutu Dreams
The breakfast in the Navutu Dreams resort is a-la-carte. You get a bread basket with jam and butter, and then you can order a variety of eggs – poached, fried, scrambled, boiled, etc. There is also the choice of healthy toasts, juice, muesli and nice tea or coffee. It reminded me of the breakfast in Navutu Fiji…

Dining in the resort

The restaurant in the resort serves delicious local food for lunch and dinner. You can take a tray of mouth-watering fresh and fried spring rolls, satay and skewers with meat, or order a curry or local meat stews, etc. If you are lucky, you will dine with a nice local dance performance at the poolside.

After a long and intense day of sight-seeing, you can relax in one of three clean fresh seawater swimming pools. Before sunset, you even can see small bats flying over the pool!
They also have de-stress and detox programs, and yoga classes, and they also cater for weddings.
The staff at the resort can be your best advisers on where to go, what to see and where to eat.
Our four days in the Navutu Dreams Resort & Wellness Retreat were outstanding.

The address of the resort is: Navutu Rd, Krong Siem Reap, 17251
